I’m thrilled to participate in this month’s “Unprocessed” challenge, created by Andrew Wilder of Eating Rules. This year, I have gotten my husband to participate and we are having a lot of fun with the challenge.

Today I am doing a guest post on Eating Rules, sharing my cherry-apricot chutney, a recipe that only tastes better now that I have updated my chutney to meet the “unprocessed” standards.

Thanks so much, Andrew, for all your efforts to influence so many of us to cook and eat healthier. Hopefully, new habits will stick as our awareness has become sharpened regarding processed versus unprocessed food in our diet.

    It is so true how much flavors change when not processed. Sometimes true flavors are less intense yet lighter is better. Keep sharing I enjoy your stories with each recipe.

    Look at you! Revamping your recipe to meet #unprocessed standards! Bravo on your efforts. I have to admit… I’m only hitting about 75%, but it’s better than zero, right?!

      Me too, but Larry and I are trying. Leftovers for lunch are a big help in staying “unprocessed”.
